A little question about BPM

This question may look so stupid, but there's a thing I want to know: When I change the BPM of a track, does the CDJ 2000 show the altered BPM on the screen, or just the original?

Example: The BPM of a track is 128. It's showing 128 on the CDJ screen. I pitch it to 130. Do the screen will show the altered BPM (130) or the original BPM (128)?

@Ian > Welcome to the forums. There are no stupid questions here!

When you move the pitch slider the altered BPM will be displayed.

If you want the displayed BPM on the screen to be as accurate as possible, be sure to use Rekordbox to adjust the beat grid for each track so that it aligns perfectly.  Some tracks may have a slightly unstable tempo.  By adjusting the beat grid in Rekordbox you are better assured that the tempo readout is correct.
