Yes, its absolutely possible - you'll have most of the features - the main thing you'll lose out on is the ability to sync.

[SOLVED] 1 CDJ2000 with 1 CDJ2000NXS
Is this possible and besides the sync what features would you loose? What features are possible and what are not? The reason is one of my CDJ2000's is broken and I'd prefer to only buy one new machine instead of two.
