[SOLVED] Restore BMP after SYNC on xdj-rx

I have  a new pioneer xdj-rx and I have a issue with SYNC and BMP. If I use sync it works perfect and two songs are matched. However if i remove the sync button I haven't found any way to like reset bmp to default. I can see it on the screen but I don't know have to go back without reloading the song. There must be some way to reset the bmp to original during song.

Of course you can use the bmp sped however sometimes it might be to far away and also I want it to be 0 for default bmp.

Is there any way to do this?

You need to match the BPM to the BPM the track was playing at while synced with the pitch slider after you disable SYNC mode.

E.g. If a track is playing at 129BPM with SYNC mode on, but is originally 126BPM, when you disable SYNC mode the track is still locked at 129BPM while the pitch slider is at 0%, you would need to raise the pitch to 129BPM to fully disable SYNC and then drop the pitch back to 0% to get back to 126BPM.

I'm assuming it's this way incase you accidentally disable sync to stop the track jumping in BPM mid mix.

^^^ This is known as a "software pickup" - you need to move the pitch slider to "get" the current pitch setting, then move it back to zero. As @Lewis says, it's so you don't accidentally disable the sync accidentally and wind up with the pitch way off.

It's a pretty common thing for controllers where one single hardware control is used for multiple software purposes. You'll get the hang of it. ;)
