Did you connect the DJM via ethernet as outlined in the update instructions? And does your ethernet network interface on your computer receiving an address from the mixer?

I cannot get my DJM 900 to update........
I'm having issues with my DJM 900 nexus. I usually work this mixer with Traktor, but a few days ago it started acting weird. The usb light will not turn on, and it will not control the fader, or mixer counsel in Traktor. I decided to update my mixer because I'm on version 1.28. I thought this might help, problem is, I can't get the mixer to update the firmware. After clicking on my DJM 900 downloader file, the message in the box is, "waiting from DJM Nexus connection. Can somebody help me with these 2 issues!

Yes, I did, and the Ethernet showed a connection. Is there an example what the address should read?

I believe it will fall into the 169.x.x.x range; be sure you're only connected by ethernet and not USB as well.
