I just set up my rekordbox 4.0 dj performance and I am getting static. Where should sample rate and buffer size be? I am using djm-900 nexus and cdi-2000's. Also how do I use cd-2000 to browse through rekordbox and select songs?

To change buffer size:
1. Click gear icon upper right of the rekordbox screen to open preference
2. Click audio icon in the preference.
3. Change buffer size and sample rate.

I have some question to know what is happening.
What does work and what does not work? (CDJ-browse/ getting static/ sample rate change/ buffer size change)
And what is your OS?
If you using Windows, you cannot change the buffer size of DJM on rekordbox.
Instead,
1. Close rekordbox and other musical application to free the DJM
2. [Program Files] -> [Pioneer] -> [DJM-900nexus] -> and then launch [DJM-900nexus_Config.exe]
-- If you cannot find the folder, please (re-)install the driver.
3. You can change buffer size in ASIO tab.
Hi I am using OS X Yosemite. I have a few problems.
1. When I record into rekordbox everything through my studio monitors sounds fine but when I listen to playback of the recording there is static/crackling sounds in the recording.
Are you using DJM-900 nexus as a recording device?
To prevent from audio clipping.
1. Lower the recording level knob until it doesn't display red color.
2. Open DJM-900nexus Setting Utility -> [MIXER OUTPUT] -> set USB Output Level as [-15dB] or [-19dB]. If you don't use FX on rekordbox dj, -15dB is loud but has possibility to cause digital clipping, -19dB is little bit quiet but safe.
As for HID control, did you have any trouble during connecting process?
Or, success to connect but HID doesn't work?

What is the spec of your computer and where did you set the buffer level? Also, when recording, what is the configuration and is the meter showing into the red at all?
Computer specs are:
Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015
2.5 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Sample rate is set to-96000 Hz
Buffer size 704
Mixer mode- set to external
METER not showing red at all. I have tried so many different configurations.
did this ever get fixed? im having the same issue right now when i try and record my mix. cdj2000nxs, djm900nxs. when i dj. no static, when i record, static.
Nope. I have tried everything. I gave up. I think its the djm usb port maybe. Really sucks!!
