Recording only in .wav ?

Hey guys, is it possible to change the recording quality to .mp3 ?

Sorry, it's better to have the recording in a higher quality WAV file and then compress it to an MP3 after. You can use various tools (including iTunes) to perform the conversion for you.

i know what you mean, but for me are the 320 mp3 enough quality. And convert a night gig what is about 5-6 Hours is not fun at all :-)

And think about the waste of hard drive space for a such long recording.

Although minimal, there would also be a processing requirement for realtime encoding to MP3. Users are already complaining that rekordbox uses a lot of CPU.
