@Simon > What is the firmware you're currently using and is it when playing back from tracks exported to a USB device?
Does it happen consistently with any particular track?
I recently added a Nexus 900 mixer to my studio set-up.
This is paired with the XDJ 1000's.
Although i have made many mixes already the XDJ's, i just recently made 2 with this new pairing with the Nexus mixer.
Out of the blue, i will experience massive tempo issues, as in, the track will complete degrade its tempo down to 20+ bpm below the current BPM. without touching a single thing will, literally do it, on it's own. These moments are happening in real time.
Further than that, In playback, i noticed, the tempo will skip or speed up, in random places all on its own. These moments didn't occur audibly in real time, and are only appearing in playback.
is this common? firmware issue?
a little help please.
thx

when i boot up the XDJ, says version 1.02
and yes the music is always exported to a USB drive.
Nope, different tracks every time.
@Simon > I would suggest updating the firmware, the current version is 1.05. See if that resolves the issue.
The other question would be if you have verified that the tracks are beat-gridded properly, and it may not be the current track but another track you may be mixing with at the time causing the problem.
ok ill update the firmware thx.
beat-gridded, as in analyzed in Rekordbox?
because i did that.
Yes, but please verify that they are correct throughout any track that has caused an issue.
@simon Jain:
Could you fix the problem ? I got this too today. No sync, all tracks gridded suddenly a played track is going faster without touching or displaying anything. This is now the third big bug besides the hot cue bug and the not always working slip mode, but this is the hardest bug made a mix impossible.
