audio missing on multiple tracks

All of a sudden and for no apparent reason around 750 tracks (mp3's) have had all the audio wiped to silence in rekordbox.

They are from varying folders on my external HD on my iMac.

Now won't play at all on imac and when open in editing software it is just silence for the whole track!

Help please. Thanks in advance

Did you move the files? Do you sync with iTunes and perhaps made changes to the metadata within iTunes?

Do you sync with iTunes? No. Haven't synced yet. Don't know how. I got iTunes up but never use it!

I have found "Said files" after removing them Rekordbox, tried playing them in my media player, no audio, opened in adobe aud, no wave. have just put through MP3GainExpress set the volume analysed and Track gained and recovered!

Why did it go in the 1st place will be a mystery to me

Weird. Something modified the file somehow, glad you got them working again - thanks for writing back.
