Any way to link the DJM 900 NXS2 without a laptop??

So I like to DJ without a laptop present and use the link function on my CDJs - just bought a DJM 900 NXS2 and just want to confirm the only way to link this to the setup for quantize effects is to get a switch and take the laptop with me? hoping this is not the case....

Get an ethernet switch to link your CDJ's to your mixer, no need for a laptop.

Hi thanks for the reply.. So just attaching the three devices via a switch

will make quantized effects work? I will try this later but if thats all thats great.. All instructions list rekordbox having to be connected.

Effects will still be quantized just as long as you hit the quantize button on the mixer.

I hit the quantize button and it flashes - does not stay lit.. if i use the effects they are not quantized.. they start in time but drift out if i leave them going... should the quantize light stay on of flash?
