So this has happened to you with different versions of firmware?
Hello to all,
I have 2 multi player Xdj 1000 purchased immediately at launch.
From the moment they immediately presented a problem :
after about 2/3 hours of use the " waveform " area on the display go crash like in the attached photo.
With firmware updates , all done , the problem occurs later and later , in fact just purchased the manifested after just about two hours .
Every time I format the USB keys and reloading from scratch playlists with various songs , the player gets better, but the problem remains after so many hours
Both players do it independently are in the " USB " or " Link" mode . I always work using a single USB stick in a reader mode " Link. "
When the problem occurs , just turn off the player and within a few seconds starts to work with just lit .
Obviously, the USB keys are built with " rekordbox " with mp3 files and Acc , I tried all USB keys of the best brands from 32 to 64 gb .
With my usb sticks also work with a console in a room with " Cdj 2000 Nexus " and do not create any problem.
There is a procedure to initialize readers and try to reload the software?
To other users it has never happened ?
I hope I was clear with my imperfect English, thank you all,
Jonni .

So this has happened to you with different versions of firmware?
Yes, with all versions.
Updating firmware the problem has improved, but it has not been resolved completely.
Looking at the " history" in Rekordbok would seem that manifests exceeded 100 songs selected by the same USB stick with a reader mode " USB " and the other player in " LINK" mode .
I do not think it is a hardware problem or overheating because when the crash happens I turn off the player and when I turn it on working without showing any malfunction.
Unfortunately I can not tell you if it can demonstrate this problem several times during the evening because there maximum working 4/5 hours.
I tried 2 times to work with two separate USB keys without using the "LINK " function and there would seem to manifest the problem .
But in my case , as I work, it is essential to use a single USB key with the second player in " LINK" mode .
I'm going to escalate this to our product team as I've not seen this before and I'm not sure what's going on!
Ok, I wait your news :)
thank you,
Jonni.

hello everybody!!
i've experienced this problem too.
i was playing with a pair of xdjs last year in a bar and i've seen this at least 8-9 times.
Last month i have bought a pair of xdjs for myself and it happened two times already!
all players had the latest update...
last year i was using an hdd and a usb stick in each player and i thought that the xdj players got confused after two-three hours by using usb-link-link-usb etc but the last two times happened on my new ones with only hdd on ,linked to the second player.
is there any solution to this???
thanks in advance
