DDJ-SX RIght side pitch slider issue. Glitching out?

so i was having a mix today and i noticed that the pitch bender on the right side would not go below 0 and when i took it above 0 the pitch would start to move up and down by itself like it is glitching out.
i have already updated the firmware and got the latest version of serato...
if anyone knows how to fix this that would be great. im worried its going to have to be sent for repair however :(
