Duplicate tracks in Dropbox and Rekordbox

I have Dropbox Cloud Sync setup with my Rekordbox account.  I also use Lexicon as my library management tool and sync with Rekordbox.  In both Rekordbox (on my gig laptop) and my Dropbox account, I'm seeing my tracks more than duplicated (in one instance, I'm seeing the same track copied 6 times).  Weird thing is, my desktop Mac's Rekordbox correctly shows one copy of each track (this is the desktop that's my primary, where I use Lexicon and sync with Rekordbox.)

1.) What's causing this?  It seems like each time Rekordbox Cloud Sync runs, it creates a new copy of the song instead of realizing the song is already backed up in the cloud.

2.) How can I go about and clean this up in both Dropbox and Rekordbox?  For Dropbox, can I delete the contents of the rekordbox>contents_* folder and when I re-sync it'll re-backup all the songs I add to Rekordbox?  For Rekordbox, can I just select all tracks and delete them from the collection, then re-add the songs?

3.) How do I also make sure I have a local copy on my gig laptop in the event that I can't stream straight from the cloud for a gig?

I saw on your tutorial video (https://youtu.be/l2ImHVgHhdM?t=491) that if there are two devices with the same tracks, Dropbox will merge them and duplicate tracks can occur.  So this is intended behavior?

Is the following setup possible (while avoiding duplicate tracks):

1.) Use Lexicon for library management and Sync to Rekordbox (all done on my desktop).

2.) Use Dropbox Library Sync in Rekordbox (on my desktop) to backup my library (and to make it available on my gig laptop).

3.) Use my gig laptop only for gigging (I won't be using it for tasks like adding new tracks to Rekordbox - that will only happen on my desktop).  This laptop should A.) sync (i.e. pull) from Dropbox, B.) create a local copy on the laptop (so I can gig without internet connection).
