No sound coming through speakers or headphones

No sound is coming through speakers or headphones. Speakers work on their own; I've tried plugging something else into the speakers and sound comes out so I don't think it's a speaker related issue.

Setup:
-DDJ 1000
-Rekordbox version 6.7.5; Audio driver 4.0.1; Firmware v1.12
-Mac Ventura 13.5.1

Details:

-DDJ trim knobs, the eqs, the master gain knob, the up faders are on. Master volume on my controller and speakers are on.
-In Rekordbox settings, master output is set to "DDJ 1000". Macbook sound settings are set to DDJ 1000. The Blue Laptop icon at the top right corner of Rekordbox window is turned off.
-Full Disk Security, Microphone, Camera access are on in Mac Software settings
