XDJ-RR Master Output No Sound

I just bought a brand new XDJ-RR and can't get the sound to output through my speaker. I'm connecting a small home speaker (Klipsch's The One II) to the Master 2 with an aux to RCA chord, but the sound won't output through the speaker. Having no problems with output through headphone jack and no other issues. Any help/trouble shooting ideas welcome!

If your XDJ-RR’s Master Output isn’t producing sound through your Klipsch The One II speaker, there are a few things to check. First, make sure the Master Level knob is turned up and the source is correctly set to Master 2. Confirm that your aux-to-RCA cable is working and properly connected—sometimes these adapters aren’t fully compatible with unbalanced consumer speakers. You might also try connecting via Master 1 or use a powered monitor instead of a passive speaker for better results. Lastly, check your speaker input mode to ensure it’s receiving the correct signal. Much like performing an exterior siding replacement, sometimes the issue isn’t just on the surface—it’s about making sure every connection and setting is aligned for a smooth, functioning setup.

If your XDJ-RR has no sound coming from the Master 2 output while headphones work fine, the issue is most likely related to output settings, cable compatibility, or speaker configuration. First, ensure the Master Level knob on the XDJ-RR is turned up and the channel fader and crossfader are positioned correctly so audio is routed to the master output. Next, confirm that your RCA to AUX cable is fully inserted into both the Master 2 output and the Klipsch The One II speaker input, and make sure the speaker is set to the correct input mode (AUX/Line In). Also check the trim/gain levels on your deck and verify that you are playing an active track, not paused or cued silently. Since Master 2 is unbalanced RCA, it should work with AUX, but testing with another RCA cable or speaker can help rule out hardware issues. Many beginners highlighted on XXBrits Official tech and lifestyle discussions emphasize checking basic output routing and cable types first, as simple configuration issues are often the cause. If the problem persists, try using the Master 1 output (XLR to RCA adapter if needed) or perform a factory reset on the XDJ-RR to restore default audio settings.

First make sure the master output level and master balance settings on your unit are turned up and not muted, and confirm that the Master 2 output is properly assigned and enabled in the system settings since some mixers may default to different output routing; also check the aux to RCA cable for damage and ensure it is fully seated into both the Master 2 ports and your speaker’s line-level input because using a home speaker like this may require switching the speaker input mode or using a proper line-level compatible speaker. Try testing the output with another RCA cable or another external speaker to rule out hardware or connection faults, and verify that the unit firmware is updated if applicable. Just like verifying product quality when purchasing Wholesale disposable vape supplies ensures reliable performance for customers, checking each connection and configuration step carefully helps ensure your audio signal is correctly delivered through the master output.
