XDJ-RX3 with Serato, Beat FX msec not matching

Try these fixes:

1. Reset MIDI mapping in Serato.
2. Toggle Beat FX parameter (your current workaround confirms a sync issue).
3. Turn Quantize off/on to see if it drift hunters updates.
4. Test in standalone mode—if it works fine, it's a Serato issue.
5. Report to Pioneer & Serato since it's a likely bug.

Updating Serato DJ Pro to the latest version (3.1.1) has also partly improved the risk but I did not encounter the same problem as you. Is the configuration different?

I updated it to the latest but it seems this version is not compatible

Ugh, milliseconds and FX, a true DJ's nightmare indeed. Sounds like a latency headache, doesn't it? This kind of timing discrepancy can ruin a transition faster than you can say "backspin." I once had a similar issue trying to sync visuals to music software, the milliseconds were off and made the whole experience a jarring mess. Serato calculates Beat FX delay/reverb/etc. in milliseconds based on the BPM.

I’ve noticed this too when using the RX3 with Serato. The BPM updates but the msec doesn’t refresh until the Beat FX parameter is touched. It feels like a sync refresh bug between the controller and Serato. Kind of reminds me of timing issues in rhythm games like Geometry Dash where even a tiny delay throws everything off. my comment is sowing half what happend?

I'm having the same issue with Beat FX not syncing properly. The workaround helps but is annoying. Has anyone found a more permanent fix or heard anything from Serato about this? It’s been frustrating enough that I’ve been taking breaks with 2 player games while waiting for a real solution.

Since you've updated both Serato and RX3, it might be worth reaching out to the support team for further assistance. slope may have insights or a fix for this specific timing problem.
