DDJ 1000 NO AUDIO OPTION IN PREFERENCES?.? HELP!!!

Hi, i have the DDJ and an active speaker using xlrs. I need help. I have the latest Mac update high sierra, updated the firmware and driver for the ddj through pioneer website. I’m getting sound though the Mac but not through the active speaker. I’ve gone into preferences in rekordbox and under audio there’s no option to select the ddj? Pulling my hair out here please help! I want to play on my new toy 😩

I had the same problem but managed to fix it. Are you on mac high Sierra? Under privacy and security settings there's an option at the bottom to allow DDJ-1000 driver.

Yes I’m on high Sierra. Just checked and nothing being blocked. So frustrating 🤬 thanks for the advice ✌🏽

Try reinstalling the driver and go into settings and privacy again as it only lasts 30 min before it disappears.

Hope it works for you dude. Just need to work out how to stop beats skipping with the hardware effects now and it's the perfect toy! Lol

It's a weird one considering the fx in the mixer is all done through the hardware.
