XDJ-RX1 Jog Wheel won't backspin

Intermittently, especially the right jog wheel but also the left, when I attempt to backspin to cue up a track, no matter how hard I try, the song keeps moving forward....Annoying and can negatively affect my performance...any other complaints about this, solutions? Or do I just gotta visit my local repair shop, lol?

Have you disabled vinyl mode?

I'm not sure if you're on an R1 or RX, so here's both:

I have the RX1...I believe I keep vinyl mode enabled...correct?

If you want to backspin, yes, it should have vinyl mode enabled.

Yes, I stay in vinyl mode, but still have that issue intermittently...which happens to be always at the most inopportune times, lol.

Is that only when in stand-alone mode or are you controlling rekordbox?

I would say stand-alone mode so I'm not really sure what it means to control rekordbox
