You might have a faulty contact switch; please contact Pioneer DJ technical support in your region to have your hardware inspected and/or serviced.
CDJ 850 ! When playing a track, and press the "AutoCue / TimeMode" button to see elapsed or remaining time, track goes to beginning !
It looks like "TRACK SEARCH |<|<|" button is pressed
If continue to press "time mode", it switches tracks back like "track search" button
not every time, about 50 / 50. As roulette )))

Unfortunately there are only 2 Pioneer service centers in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv), and both are far from my city (Odessa, about 500km).
But I have instruments and basic skills. Multimeter shows, that ''AutoCue'' contact switch is in absolutely working condition. Where else may be the problem ? Maybe firmware ? I saw, somebody already had such a problem, but post is deleted, what was the solution ?
I'm sorry, but nobody here is authorized to provide you with technical repair or disassembly information for your hardware, so I'll again direct you to contact a local service shop. You may opt to have it serviced elsewhere if it's out of warranty.
I Have the same problem ... with my two CDJ 850. (firmware version: 1.12)
the button 'TIME MODE' works perfectly, most of the time ... but sometimes , this button return the song to the beginning. making me feel ashamed in the presentations.
