@Reymund > Sorry but the Core2Duo processor you're using is not powerful enough and does not meet the minimum system requirements for running rekordbox. Given the age of the computer, I'd suggest that it may be time to upgrade.
I have My ddj rb! Before the software works good, but after I upgraded into 5.5.0 it lags, when I drag a track into the other deck the music is skipping, I have my macbook pro Version 10.12.6 processor: 2.4Ghz intel core 2 dou memory: 4gb ram 1067 Mhz ddr3, if I uprade it to 8gb ram? Would it be effective, it wont lag again? what Ive experience right now? Or need to upgrade it to 16gb ram? Please respect post! I really need an answer @pioneer @rekordbox

@Reymund RAM is an entirely separate component from CPU. The CPU is the baseline that determines the processing power your machine is capable of–no amount of RAM will help your CPU at this point–it is 9 years old and has two cores.
The current minimum spec for nearly all DJ software is an Intel i5 or equivalent. I would suggest upgrading to a machine with a strong spec. Personally, I use a 6-core i7 2.2 gHz laptop with 16 GB RAM. By investing in a powerful machine from the start, I can future "future-proof" myself for several years. To put it in perspective, my backup machine is a 2014 MPB (quad-core i7) that works just as effectively as my current one.
