DDJ-SZ2 Sampler Slots - 6 per Bank?

Hi,

About to purchase a SZ2 and doing some research on specs.

Regarding the sampler, the specs for the SZ2 say there are only 6 slots per bank.

Compared to the SX3 8 slots per bank this would seem less capacity.

So just wondering if this is in fact the case and if so, why would it be that way given the SZ2 is the flagship?

The software supports 8; the webpage was simply created back when the sampler was known as the "SP6" and only allowed 6 slots.

Thanks, the manual also says 6 but I guess it also hasn't been updated in line with the software.
