Is this trick possible on a xdj rx2 standalone?

It's a trick using rekordbox, but I was wondering if this is also possible (using the noise effect without music) with the XDJ RX2 running standalone (without a laptop with rekordbox)?

James Hype uses this trick a lot as well and I was just wondering how he did it.
