Hi I got that driver issue with my DDJ 1000, plugged in it downloaded the driver installed got a popup that whats you to say OK, (Dont do this) I hit ok and the mac restarted & after would not work, ie music only plays through mac speakers, so I trried uninstall & reinstall & still would not work, I fixed it by uninstall & re install the driver (the uninstall is in the driver package that you download) but do DON’T restart yet, then go to Security and Privacy, General and then you will see someting about the pioneer driver to allow I had to hit the lock in the bottom left, then I could allow Pioneer driver. after thats done Restart. and now it should work. Hope this helps someone.
Ps if anyone else is having trouble signing in to make post's as I have use firefox as my chrome wouldnt work for some reason.
Chrome likely isn't working for the forum because you have cross-domain cookies / content blocked; please check that setting for this site and allow it. Clear the cookies set for:
*.pioneerdj.com
*.rekordbox.com
*.zendesk.com
*.gigya.com
As for the controller, yes - you need to allow it through the security; this is outlined in the instructions on the driver download page as well.
