Big Sur update process

Thanks for sending the email to inform me that compatibility checks are now complete. I have read the update installation instructions but please can I seek clarification of the process to follow, I currently have rekordbox 6.5.0 installed on OS Catalina. So is the correct method to:

1. Download and install the new audio driver before updating the OS to Big Sur.

2. Shut down and restart the MacBook.

3. Update OS to Big Sur.

4. Connect my DDJ800.

No.

1) Update to Big Sur 11.2.

2) Install drivers.

3) Connect DDJ.

Thanks Pulse,

The driver pkg also includes an uninstaller as well as the V3 driver. Should I run the uninstaller before upgrading the new driver?

No harm in running that to remove the old drivers, but the new one would be what's accessed by the system. Be sure to follow the instructions on restarting and allowing the drivers through security!
