There could have a been a power surge that may have caused this issue. Connection issues can usually be resolved by replacing the USB cable and trying a different USB port on the computer.

DDJ SX2 flushes red light and freezes
Hi,
I do have a DDJ SX2 with latest firmware and Drivers.
There is this day i was not connected to clean power (UPS) and power went out for about 2 minutes, when i put back the SX2 on it couldn't connect to serato dj, on the hardware on channel 4 the fx button labeled 2 just blinks red and that's it Serato DJ remain on offline mode.I have to wait for several hours for it to work again
Yesterday when i rebooted the equipment that happened is there a solution to this?
I now use clean power but am worried.

Hey Thanks for your response. Normally when that happens i try different ports and even change the laptop but still the same issue persist, but if the controller remain off for over an hour then it's ok.
My issue is sometimes i do not have that one hour.
