Hi, I hope you can help, I've got an XDJ-RX and for the past 6 months have been ripping my vinyl onto USB using the record function on the XDJ-RX, onto a USB and then uploading the USB onto my laptop, uploading it to Media Go (as my database to keep the original files) and then importing the files across to Rekordbox to analyse.
No problems whatsoever until last night and now for some reason it's either not importing the file, or importing it across and then mergeing into another existing file, so the labelling (title, artist, album, track, artwork etc...) is for one track, but the actual track is the newly imported track.
Any ideas what is happening and what I can do to sort it out?

Have you been renaming the files? Otherwise they'll be "REC0001.WAV" (or something similar), and if you cleared the USB drive, the numbering starts from 1 again, meaning any new files recorded then transferred in to the computer could possibly overwrite or be confused due to identical filenames.
Hi, yes I do rename all of the files, so that they have the full release details - artist, title, album, genre, year, album cover etc...
I then delete the track off my USB once it's safely uploaded & start again recording the next. This has worked fine for the past 6 months, just started causing problems now.
Recording from my XDJ-RX & uploading and editting onto MediaGo are fine, it's just the exporting to Rekordbox that is causing the issue.
So you record a track, REC0001.WAV, take it into MediaGo, edit, save it as "The First Song - The First Artist.WAV" and then import that to rekordbox.
Next, you go record another track, but as you've already removed the first one from the USB drive, it also saves as REC0001.WAV, but you take that into MediaGo, edit, save it as "The Second Song - The Second Artist.WAV" and import it to rekordbox, but instead, it's showing up in rekordbox having the information from First Song? Am I correct in that understanding? If not, can you elaborate further so I have a clearer picture of what's going on?
Kind of yeah, but it's not recalling the first song, it's remembering an older song recorded months/weeks ago, but that is the process I use.
If I've messed up, is there a way around this? Would buying a new USB help?
If you open the info panel and check the file name / location, is it correct for each file?
