Pioneer DDJ-RX

I recently purchased at DDJ-RX controller from Guitar Center and when I plugged the controller into my Mac, it did not work whatsoever. I checked the Pioneer website to see if I needed any drivers, but supposedly the controller is able to work seamlessly with Mac. Secondly, I updated my computer to OS Sierra in an attempt to get the controller to work, with no avail. Lastly, I attempted to reset the controller, which did not work either and even attempted to plug the controller into a separate Mac and it still did not pick up the driver. 'm wondering if anyone else may be experiencing these problems? Should I invest in another DDJ product or what? Need help please!

Hello Peter,

Yes, as you use DDJ-RX with Mac, you do not have to install the driver. 

However, you need to check if your Mac properly recognizes DDJ-RX. 

Please follow the steps below to see if you find DDJ-RX in the MIDI Studio using Audio MIDI Setup.app?

If you cannot find the DDJ-RX in the MIDI Studio, please add DDJ-RX using "Add Device."
