I have noticed Rekordbox DJ seems to skip a half a beat when using cue points. I have tried different quantize settings but it still seems to happen. Is anyone else having this issue. Outside of this, I am very excited about the software. However, if I can't figure this out, the software is largely useless.

The problem is that there is no "backwards" quantization - so if you press it LATE, it will wait until the next measure (1/1 by default). Either disable Quantize or set it to the 1/16 setting for the smallest amount of delay.
Our engineers are aware of this request and are working to include it in a future update.

Me too.... always... I have to disable quantizing for usung CUE points in the right time! And when I press play and instantly try to pitch bend my track jog wheels don't work till I stop them end then I can pitch bend in the right way!!! DDJ-SZ
That was a good idea. I just turned off quantizing. ideally you should not have to do that but so far no skipping.
Yes, but, then you're gonna need to make a loop and Balaam, they are not quantize.... I asked for quantize loops that follow my beat grids without quantize button on
Actually this hasn't been a problem. Let's say I'm I hit the loop a 1/16 note too soon, it also ends the loop a 1/16 note early so things actually stay in time. It does look a little weird but it does work....so far.

I'm having the same problem, and thank you for reporting this. I thought it was just me.
So, I'm new to Rekordbox DJ and generally like the software. However, when I use a Hot Cue to quickly jump to another part of the track (I like to take songs that are say, 7 minutes long, and cut it down to 2-3 minutes), sometimes it works flawlessly and other times, it skips a beat. I can't have this happen during a live performance.
I have the Quantize setting enabled and the beat setting on 1.
Hopefully, Pioneer resolves this issue in a future update.
