XDJ 1000 and DDJ SX Rekordbox connection

I have been using the ddj sx for a couple of years now with serato. Have just bought a pair of XDJ 1000. I have hooked it up wit my DDJ SX (as a standalone mixer) and have tried using rekordbox via usb on the players themselves.

I tried to connect my laptop to one of the player hoping to be able to use my macbook pro as how i would use for serato but for rekordbox instead. But i am only able to control one player. Is there anyway for me to be able to use the 2 XDJ 1000 players?

Also am thinking of getting a DJM 900NXS2 in the future, is there anyway that i can pair the djm with the 2 xdjs and using a laptop with full control?

Yes ... connect both of them and then you get 2 decks of control.

You can also use any DJM along with the XDJs as your audio mixer.

Thanks for the reply. Connect both of them using usb? or how do i connect both of them.

and sorry for not being clear in my second question. What i meant is can i use the DJM900nx2 with 2 XDJ 1000 and my macbook, and how do i connect via? Thanks

You would connect each XDJ via USB to the computer (either direct or through a hub) and then run the audio output from the XDJ to the mixer.

If you are using a DJM, you can also run that USB to the computer and select the DJM as your audio device, eliminating the need to run audio cables from the XDJs to the DJM line-ins.

Señores Pioneer Dj...Puedo conectar un par de XDJ1000 a la SX2 y manejar los efectos Fx como los Hotcues-Roll-Slicer desde la misma?

Quiero tener la configuracion XDJ1000 y SX2. Si conecto la salida de audio de los XDJ a un canal de la SX2 sé que tendré salida por el master de la SX2, pero quiero saber si los pads que tiene el SX2 funcionan para manejar las funciones de la XDJ1000. Por ejemplo, los Hotcue, los efectos FX de la SX2 sobre el XDJ. Se podría realizar esto en Serato Dj o en Rekordbox?

@John > If you are using Serato or rekordbox, you would configure the SX2 as your primary device and that would act as the audio interface for the audio mix -- so no connection is necessary from the XDJ-1000 to the SX2, unless you plan on using a USB device connected directly to the XDJ itself to playback without a computer.

If you're asking if you can use the XDJ-1000 as an additional controller for Serato or rekordbox, yes; but there's not much point as you would basically need to put one of the decks of the SX2 into the channel that matches the XDJ's assignment just to use the pads of the SX2, and the jog of the XDJ. That doesn't make much sense.
