XDJ 1000 MK2 SEARCH AND NOTES

Hello is there a way when loading a track in the search field to be able to see what playlist the song is on?  Also when I am in a playlist and I go to the search field I would like to back out to the playlist but it always takes me to the menu that lists all my playlists.  Also in rekordbox it allows to add notes to memory cues and hot cues but when I export it to usb for the xdj mk2 I don't see the notes information anywhere.  One last thing when I am playing a track and load it on another deck it does not load the hot cues points and plays where the other deck is currently playing at is there a way to disable this?

On the player, no, it's not possible as the song could exist on multiple playlists and would not have enough room to show it.

None of the hardware shows the memory notes; this is only visible within rekordbox.

The cues are not loaded on the other deck, possibly because the same track is being loaded as an "instant double" and in the interest of playing instantly, it doesn't load the memory points / hot cues. You can manually call them.

Ahh I see thanks.  I would love to see in the future products a search feature that would allow to search a track then when clicking on it you could then press maybe a dedicated software button that would allow to see all the playlists that track is in as well as being able to go back to the previous section of the menu after engaging a track in search mode.  Also seeing the notes via the cdj/xdj screen in future products would be great as well I know it would take up room but it could just show up as little ticks to show there is a note then when the user clicks on it directly it pops out a short message or another way could be to just have a notes section in the menu options for the dedicated track.

Thanks again is there a way to disable the instate double on the xdj mk2?  All I do is load one deck of the xdj mk2 and load the other deck and it automatically does the instant double not sure if there is an option to disable that feature.

Is there a way to disable the instant double feature on the xdj mk2? Also could you let the engineers know if they could update the search field to allow to go back to the previous playlist after searching and choosing a track. For instance when I am in a playlist and playing a track then I go to search field and click on lets say a acapella or scratch sample then go back thinking I would get to my previous playlist I was just in.  Currently does not work that way it jumps me back to the main field. Also do you think the xdj mk2 will get the 8 beat jump feature like the cdj nxs2 just recieved?

There's no way to disable that instant-doubles feature, and I don't believe the beat jump change is planned, but I'll pass the comments along to our product teams.

Let me see if I follow...

You're in a playlist, but then you go back to the main menu and select search, load a track, then press back and it takes you to the search results rather than the main menu or playlist - is that the problem?

Cool thank you for passing that along.

For the other issue many times I mix within a playlist, but during mixing I tend to search while still in the playlist.  I like to quickly play a acapella or utilize a scratch track then want to back out after using said track and quickly go into the playlist I was just in before I used the searched track.  When I do search I do not use the main menu search I just hard press the software search button on the top left corner.  So I would love for the software when backing out to be able to back out according to the menus or in this situation playlist I was just in.  Because currently it backs me out to the main menu where it lists playlists vs it being the playlist I was in.  Usually when I search a track just before mixing its to quickly add a remix such as a acapella or scratch so when I am done with the searched track I need to quickly go back to the playlist I was just in before the search to quickly pick the other track I am actually going to mix to.
