Echo effect has no volume fader control

I have noticed a problem using the rekordbox ECHO effect in single effect mode. If you use the freeze parameter (with DDJ RZX), you cannot control volume of the ECHO - the channel fader and cross fader do not change the volume. The only way to change the echo freeze effect is to totally deactivate the effect. All other effects seem to work with full volume control using channel fader and cross fader. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

Only two FXs, DUB ECHO and SPACE, are Post fader among the COLOR FX included in DDJ-RZX.

Post fader FXs in rekordbox when connected to DDJ-RZX are below.

Isn't that the desired effect? The echo is post fader so the volume controls/faders etc will have no effect... Or at least that's the way it works on my RZ and the effect fades itself out.

Thanks for the reply! Hmmm... It seems that the ECHO effect is post fader ONLY when using the freeze parameter. Otherwise the ECHO effect and all other effects are pre fader. It Is clearly a rekordbox software issue, not a controller/hardware one because I see the same issue by triggering the effect using the computer without the RZX controller - and you confirmation that it happens on your RZ too. I believe these effects were intended to be pre fader (pioneer please confirm if I am correct). At least rekordbox should provide an option so that you can select pre or post fader effect.

I find the fact of not having a volume controll on the FX very annoying as I often times create an undesirable volume spike. The three FX knobs should have a volume control so I can dial how much I want in relation to the track played. Although my tracks are dB equalised some genres are more quiet than others, and hence the FX volume should be individually settable.

Echo effect always works at post-fader. When FREEZE mode is enabled and the effected sound will be looped. The sound is already through the volume control so that channel fader won't affect the audio level.
