Headphone cue off beat with master output

I have a ddj rz hooked up to a 32gb i7 6gen. Using a focusrite audio interface for my speakers.
When i have the buffer set to 256, the headphone cue is about 2 beats faster than the output. I have to turn the buffer all the way down for the cue and output to match. But then the latency on the jog wheel is HORRIBLE!!!
However, if i set the output to the laptops internal soundcard and listen through the Laptops speakers everything is perfect at 256 buffer.
I would like to resolve this problem with out having to;
A. Change audio interfaces
B. Output my laptops soundcard into the input of my interface
C. Master out of ddj to input of interface (which i tried and couldn't figure out how to make it work)

Help please

Yeah, I'm not sure why you want to use the output from the Focusrite when the RZ itself has a built-in audio interface. Is it because your speakers are already connected to the Focusrite and you don't want to move the over?

In that case, why not run an output from the RZ to the Focusrite inputs, and then monitor from there?

I don't get it. Why are you using a Focusrite interface when you have the DDJ-RZ? Just use the RZ!

Change audio interfaces? No, you just need the RZ

Laptop output to interface? No, just use the RZ

RZ output to interface? No, just use the RZ

Thank you..I did just go out of the rz to the focusrite inputs. works good. I will try using the rz interface at some point but right now because of how my studio is set up it would be a nuisance to control my speakers from the rz when im using my computer to produce.  i will rearrange my setup one day, im sure the rz interface is better
