It sounds like a demo mode, have you tried disconnecting the usb from the unit when you go to bed?

DDJ RB Making horrible high pitch noice while idle.
I have no clue why but when my DDJ RB goes to idle and starts doing this fancy stuff with a wave of all the lights roll over and that. It starts making a high pitch noice through my M-Audio bx5's Its super anyoing especially since i dont turn of my computer when i go to bed. Someone know how to either turn off this idle thing or get rid of it?

Yeah i meant demo mode. Im just wondering if there is anyway to turn off the demo mode?

1 Disconnect the USB cable from your computer.
2 While pressing both the [SHIFT] and [PLAY/PAUSE]
2 While pressing both the [SHIFT] and [PLAY/PAUSE]
buttons on the left deck, connect the USB cable to the computer, or disconnect contoler.
Hold SHIFT and PLAY/PAUSE, connect SUB cable.
You'll see, on LEFT deck only few buttons glowing RED.
PRESS first button, below the HOT CUE, whnet becomes RED, disconnect UBS.
Wait frew sec connect USB and enjoy!
BUTTON 1: OFF: Demo mode is disabled.
Setting 2: Demo mode starts when there is no operation for 1 minute.
Setting 3: Demo mode starts when there is no operation for 5 minute.
Setting 4: Demo mode starts when there is no operation for 10 minute.
