Hey all, maybe someone can help me with this...
I want to see some old histories. The problem is, that Rekordbox show them as empty. I think the problem is, that the music files are on an old device, but i cant connect the old device anymore.
My question, is there a way to get a textfile which shows me the history? Rekordbox still knows the historie but not the tracks?
Can i read the text from an database file or something like this? I dont need them to be shown in rekordbox...

The history should be in a folder that is on the laptop/pc that was used for the gig or event so you will need that folder to get to all history on that device. If you have a gig computer and an external hard drive that work together, but the history is associated with the pc/laptop.

i have the same problem but i haven't moved any files.
From one second to the other, all histories where gone.
Same with the internal playlists. All Playlists are empty. Note: I import them from itunes.
Could please tell me the excact folder / data where the histories are saved on the mac.
I would like to restore them via timemachine.
Or do you have other solutions?

How is it you DJ? Are you playing from a USB stick? rekordbox dj (performance mode)? rekordbox over link (export mode)?
i'm using the rekordbox software on mac in the performance mode.
Just so I understand, you're missing your playlists as well as the histories? Do the playlists themselves still exist but there are no contents within? What about the collection? Are the tracks that were in the playlists still in the collection?

That doesn't explain anything about "tags" -- can you clarify?
And what did you change in your iTunes library?
sorry it was a typing mistake. i haven't change the library (itunes and rekordbox) at all.
With tags i just mean the names of the playlists (the dates)
If you play a set, does the history show up at all? Is it only disappearing if you close / re-open rekordbox?
yes it shows up. and the last times I played sets it recorded them and saved them but the old ones are all gone and i want to know how that can be possible?

I am having a similar issue.
I had a gig yesterday, played for 3 hours in 2 linked cdj 2000 nexus. Today rekordbox's histories is only showing 3 songs.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi All, I am having a similar problem. Currently using Rekordbox version 6.2.0 and DDJ1000 controller. My Histories are empty. All my music and playlist are from external hard drive. In my case, my History is completely empty, meaning, Rekordbox has not record my history since day 1. need help, thanks.

Playing on my laptop with an external HDD, i put the song directly in rekordbox and then using the pro DJ LINK.
Rekordbox create a History playlist with the correct date but it's still empty...
It's only work when i made a new clar rekordbox database, i think the problem is in the "master.db" file
I can't loose my .cue points and informations, this is why i try to fix it and need your help
