so i went ahead and got a external hdd to go along with new my updated laptop this week so that everything can now be up and above specs for modern dj programs. i followed the directions in the video to move the library over to the external and it's working fine, but i do have a question.
do you need to save the library and database everytime that you add new tracks and videos?? or does this happen on it's own as if it where saving normally on the internal hdd??

Automagic! Yep, the only stipulation is you need the drive connected when you open rekordbox or it will kindly inform you that it can't find the database. Don't freak out! Simply close rekordbox, connect your external drive, and presto.
