djay Conversion Utility for MacOS
current version 1.916 as of 24/01/2017from Traktor Pro to RekordboxThe djay Conversion Utility also exports hot cues, saved loops and beat markers from Native Instruments Traktor Pro to Pioneer's Rekordbox. The cues are stored both as hotcues as well as memory cues.
from Rekordbox & Traktor Pro
to djay (MacOS & iOS)The djay Conversion Utility (DCU) will convert cue points and the first downbeat of a beatgrid set in Pioneer's Rekordbox or Native Instrument's Traktor Pro to Algoriddim's djay. The utility will generate a file that can be used with all versions of the djay app (both pro and 2) on both platforms iOS and MacOS.
DCU scans the entire collection and converts all the cue points and the first downbeat of the track automatically for all tracks in the collection.
If djay Pro for MacOS is installed, DCU can install the converted file in the proper location automatically.
When converting from Traktor to Rekordbox there is support for a "Catch loop". A saved loop at the end of a track that is activated automatically upon entering. Your Pioneer hardware needs to support the "saved active loop" function".

Rekordbox users need to go through the RekordBox.xml file to import the converted data into Rekordbox. If the Tracks with converted cues are already part of your Rekordbox collection then only the cues and beatgrid are overwritten. Optionally all other metadata can be exported from Traktor Pro as well. The tracks remain part of the playlists they are already part off.
Traktor Pro users can either convert the entire collection or just a playlist (see the tutorial at
https://youtu.be/F25-5Fdw8XY).
Users can chose to create a playlist in iTunes holding all tracks that have their cue points converted. This option is very convenient for users of djay on an iOS device. It will take the guess work out of track synchronization.
Serato DJ users require Rekord Buddy 2 (or a rekordbox.xml file with valid cue points and beatgrids).
DCU works from MacOS 10.8 upto the latest version (64 bits) incl. MacOS Sierra.
