I CAN'T USE DDJ-RB ON WINDOWS 8.1

Hello,

I have been able to play DDJ-RB in OS X without any problems, but in windows 8 there is no way. I have tracked the FAQs and read many messages from this and other forums where everyone recommends the same. I already did it, but does not work.

I have Windows 8 with all windows updates up to date and confirming that I have explicitly the KB3033 .... etc

The problem is that in windows Device Manager, DDJ-RB does not appear in ANY of the sections, and therefore when I try to choose it in Rekordbox as an audio device it says "Error during DDJ-RB ASIO operation"

As suggested in all FAQs and forums, I have uninstalled drivers, searched for updates on windows, installed if there were any, turned off the PC, turned on, installed drivers with right button as administrator (does not give any problem) and in rekordbox returned the same message, and In Windows Device Manager still does not appear.

I also can not use it as a controller in Rekordbox (I have not tried other software in Windows 8)

I understand that windows is not like OS X is always more problematic, but I do not understand why if there are so many people with this problem has not been yet solved.

Please tell me what I have to do to make it work, it is sad and disappointing at the same time to buy something and not be able to use it

Hell Javier,

Yes, one biggest difference between Mac OS and Windows when using a controller is that you need to install ASIO driver only for Windows, but Mac OS already has driver in it.

Did you download and install the latest DDJ-RB driver for Windows8.1?

Please download and install DDJ-RB driver Ver1.200 for Win7 and 8.1 from the link below. This driver will allow you to connect your DDJ to a PC.
Please read the Manual for the installation procedure.

Please install and see if it works or not.

Hi,

That's exactly the version that I already installed. I understand that most of problems can be solved directing us to the manual, because lot of people don't follow the guided procedure.

But as I said, I already follow manual, and other guides that I found on this forum on similar topics.

I am on the very last Windows 8.1 updates and I installed software exactly as described on this guide. It simply do not work, rekordbox show the message "Error during DDJ-RB ASIO operation" when I select as an audio device my DDJ-RB.

Please, can you solve this problem? There are a lot of other users with this problem.

Second point, please can you tell me where to contact oficial Pioneer SAT? A forum where takes 9 days to give me a generic response is not acceptable.

I purchase your product and I can't use on my Windows 8.1 laptop.
