Hey mate, did you have any luck solving this problem? I'm having this exact thing happen to me now with my RX and your post is the only thing I have found on the internet in regards to this problem. Cheers

SeguirAudio Dropout Meter Spiking Randomly at 100% With DDJ-RZ
I've been having this problem lately while doing a few mixing sessions that the audio is fine for a while, but the audio dropout meter suddenly spikes to 100% and stays there which prevents me from controlling Rekordbox with the DDJ-RZ.
I don't have this issue when I test it out on my desktop, but when I use it on my laptop, this issue occurs.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Rekordbox and the DDJ-RZ Windows 10 driver and same issue still occurs. I have also reinstalled Windows 10 and the same issue still happens.
I am not too sure what's going on since my latency is fine on this laptop with other DJ software and it also meets beyond the specifications for Rekordbox as well.
Please help as I don't know what else to do on this issue.
Best regards

Have you tried adjusting your buffer size?

I have the exact same problem since summer last year and has an OPEN ticket private about this but no solution is seen...
I have discovered a "workaround" that makes you not have to restart everything BUT it will NOT solve the "core-problem".
"When problem occur, press the butten besides the CPU-meter that is ON/OFF for PC Master Out."
This will make tha meter go away and you can just click it agan to get in in the the way it was. Then program will start work normally again... to next randomly the problem occur again. Then you can do this process again as many times as necessary.
Also I think if you run the program as a "Administrator" it will occur less times (just a feeling I have). You start as "Administrator" if you right-click on the program-icon and choose "Open program as Administrator".
You can also look at the ON/OFF for PC Master Out so it is correctly pressed.
PIONEER PLEASE solve it!
I am NOT glad you also have problem but I am glad that maybe they will fix it if we are more people with same problem. We have bought a hardware from you for big money and this sort of things should not occur.
Thank you for otherwise a supreme software and hardware.
@Nightlife > I took a look at the ticket and they are working on it -- it could be related to the graphics driver, but I'm just reading through notes in Japanese and not 100% sure if that's the cause or not. Thanks for your patience.
@Ben > You could also ensure that there are no other background tasks running and you've disabled things like file indexing, Cortana, anti-virus, etc. See this article for tips on optimization.
Thank you Pulse you are The Man!! =)
Yes but I have been so patient. My Graphics driver is a Nvidia GTX 660 - 3gb so I mean its good. I would really appretiate if you could look at it. I have seen you solve so many troublesome things so If someone CAN solve it it would be you! =)
Here I was thinking I was the only person having this issue with my RZ. Sadly, I am still having this problem of the audio dropout meter spiking suddenly on my laptop, and have even adjusted all the latency settings, still having the same problem. I just wonder if there may be issues with the RZ not liking certain motherboards since I don’t have this problem on my desktop, just the laptop.
Entirely possible -- more likely to be the USB chipset drivers (which is why it's important to keep the system BIOS / UEFI updated as well as the USB drivers from the manufacturer / Microsoft), or the graphics chipsets. We're looking into what we can to try and resolve this.
Found a temporary solution to this through another forum. Simply switching off WiFi does the trick. Very strange, it's like turning the WiFi on and off turns this glitch on and off. Still would like a permanent fix for this as I never had this problem before and suddenly it happens all the time.
Yes I have also thought about the Motherboard... but still should be working. =/
This with the WIFI on/off is not what I find related. I do not run WIFI at all (my computer is a Desktop-PC). What did make you think that? I find it very unrealistic that it would correlate.
Thank you for looking into it Pulse! =) It has ruined so many "perfect" recordings for me when it suddenly "spikes up" and then I have to start recording the mix over again. And the "perfect moment" is gone forever. Very frustrating.
