I've got some serious problems while using the latest Rekordbox 4.3.0 on my USB.
DJ Gear i use right now:
- Rekordbox 4.3.0
- Kingston DataTraveler 64GB 3.0
Recently I bought a new Kingston USB. (Specifications listed above)
I have this USB formatted to FAT32 and just generally recognized in rekordbox. What really strikes me is that in comparison with other sticks I have been very slow to use with rekordbox. Sync takes longer than other USB drives. Even when I do a CDJ my stick during a performance, it takes longer for it to load. This is not the biggest problem.
Indeed, it is already happened that my Kingston USB fails while running. The CDJ stops working and the music stops. After this happened, I let my USB checked by the shop where I bought it. I then got a new Kingston USB, but also with this stick I feel the exact same problems.
Is anyone familiar with this problem? It may be that the CDJ where it does not work I have the latest firmware, as I often play in different locations.
What can I do best? Should I buy a USB with a memory of 32 GB, so FAT32 works better? For example, the Corsair 32GB USB 3.0.
Can anyone help me, please?

yup..me too. Kingston USB 3-64 GB. Rekordbox just won't load if that's plugged in. Tried to fix the "application error" via changing the disable program value in rekorbox.settings.3 file but to no avail.
We haven't had many reports regarding Kingston drives not working, but we do know Corsair Survivor drives do have some issues and as such, don't recommend them.
If the problem persists with certain USB drives, but not others, then it could be a compatibility issue.
No.. In Holland many DJ's are complaining about the Kingston and Corsair devices. I can tell you: buy the San Disk Cruzer Extreme (32GB or 64GB) for working with the CDJ2000 nexus. Other devices than SanDisk's won't work well if you buy new products.
