What format are your USB devices you're using to record to, and what is the make / model of those drives?

Master Rec - Not recording
Master rec on my XDJ-RX unresponsive when I hit the button for recording though as I continue mixing music, it would sporadically turn on and off and I end up with multiple music files on my usb that are 5-10 sec long.
I've tried using different USB sticks to no avail.
Please advise

I have just tried to set up a new RX2 for a friend. Having had the same product for nearly 3 years i thought i would find the process very easy. i have updated the firmware to 1.38 as this is the latest version and found that the master record doesn't work. all the usb's are fine and i even took my correct ones to use on the new RX2. On start up the light on the Master record lights up and goes out but will not do anything else. can you please help me. i travelled for 2 hours to help a friend only to feel frustrated. i have used MY usb's that work perfectly with my RX2 formatted to EX Fat i've tried new sticks in all over formats.

@Marcus > Can't be exFAT; has to be FAT32 or HFS+, that was likely the problem.
