So I had a gig Staurday, everything was going awesome, all of a sudden the music stopped.
I didn't panicked, I was able to see that the waveform was still moving in Rekordbox but I had no signal on the mixer's 2 channels (where CDJ's where connected).
I pressed CUE button fast on CDJ, tracked jumped to the begging and signal was back for the track that was playing, and went with mouse straight to the middle of the song and played it from there, the track was like 15 seconds away from the breakdown anyway. It all lasted about 5 seconds cause I moved fast, but I don;t want it to happen again.
I want to add to this: i'm a mobile DJ and normally I have minimum 2000s connected to my laptop, sometimes NXS2, mixer is always 900 or something similar, it never happens with that setup, BUT, I do get slowdowns (the sound gets crackling) in EVERY set, it's kinda annoying and they last for like 2 3 seconds. Sometimes it happens 2 times / 2h set and sometimes 1 time only / 2h set.
When I use my DDJ-RX @ home it's fine, I don't remember ever happening. I do use other USB cables (bought new) when I go to the club than the cable that came with my DDJRX.
Configuration:
Rekordbox 4.5.0
Laptop: Dell E7450 (it's a 2 yr old laptop and I paid a lot of money for it), i7 5600U 2.6GHz turbo 3.2GHz dual core, 8GB RAM, 256 SSD with Windows 10 Creators Edition (I got the 2-3s crackles before the Win10 update and after, just no time to whine about it until now) with Wi-Fi and LAN DISABLED, Bluethooth DISABLED, OneDrive turned off, Processor use is barely 25% every time I look at it inside Rekordbox.
If anyone had the same issues please let me know. For now I will play off my USB stick, but I do prefer performance mode.
Are there any logs I can check, is there a debug mode, or an enhanced log mode (like from INFO to ERROR mode) ?
Thank you and sorry for the long post, I want to get to the bottom of this.
