Sure there is - use the relocate tool, select all files, locate the first file, and when prompted if you want to use the same location to find all other files, click "yes."
Hello,
I have change my computer from PC to Mac. Unfortunatly Rekordbox can't relocate all of my tracks (+/- 35000). It's due to the fact that Rekordbox can't relocate tracks by scanning a new root folder path, there is no possibility to select a folder.
I use Traktor for a long time and this (so simple) possibility exist since the start of the software. Then, why Pioneer wait to put it in Rekordbox?
Regards,
Laurent

No, it's not working. For one reason :
The path where I stock my tracks is structure like that :
"/root/style of music/year/artist/title/track.mp3"
When I use relocate Rekordbox scan only the parent folder of the track but not the root.
I don't understand why Rekord box can't simply scanning a folder (and all sub folders) that the user select.

Laurent
If you had:
/root/style of music/year/artist/title/track.mp3
...and you moved everything to:
/root/somenewfolder/style of music/year/artist/title/track.mp3
...and relocated the first track, it would then allow you to relocate everything.
Likewise if you moved it all to:
/anewdirve/style of music/year/artist/title/track.mp3
It does what you're asking.
Hello,
I'm sorry but no, it's not working.
And I find this :
when I select all missing files and do a relocate with select of a track file. Then Rekordbox ask me to use same path of another file (???) than the one I select. And after "Rekordbox found 0 files" and the track still in the missing files list. Then I do a relocate of the track only and I receive a message that say "The track is already in your list", but still in the missing files list.
@Laurent > If it says the track is already in your list, you've imported that song a second time from its new location. Remove the duplicate, then relocate the track.
There is no duplicate...
I think I have explain all the problems.
the solutions you give me are not working.
Please, go and see how Traktor works and specialy the "check consistency" function and the "relocate" with possibility to select directly a folder and not only a music file.
@Laurent > This isn't my first time using rekordbox; if the relocate function tells you a track is already in your collection, I guarantee, you have re-imported that song a second time from its new location.
Find the offending track, sort by track name, and I bet you'll see there's two of them; one in the old (missing) location, and one in the new location.
Hello,
finally after many attempt : it works!
I don't now where was the problem. But I have done upgrade of Rekordbox from version 4 to 5.
The différence that I see was when I do "relocate" the system give the good path of the tracks.
And for information, when we talk about the item was already in the list, I verify all and never find a duplicate entry of the track.

Laurent
