rekordbox disaster

I'm was using my DDJ-SR controller with rekordbox on a top notch MacBook pro. My DJ friend plugged in his rekordbox formatted thumb drive while I'm in the middle of my DJ set. It took a long time to read the flash drive and then my laptop froze after trying to analyze the tracks from the thumb drive. I had to reboot my laptop.

@Adrian > As @Spark972 says, if the drive was a rekordbox export device, there would be no analysis required on your computer unless your friend was trying to import the songs from the USB drive directly into your collection.

As I say with many things in life, it it only happens the one time, it could just be a fluke - but if you are able to repeat the process and know what you did was the correct method of operation, and it fails again, then it's likely a problem, and you should let us know.

I'm not sure it should need to be analyzed again if your friend's thumb drive was already Rekordbox formatted. The datas are supposed to be exported along the tracks.
May be a mismatch in both RKB version ?
