XDJ RX2 freeze with some tracks?

@Hans > I'd recommend trying the following:

1) Format that USB drive to wipe it clean.

2) Re-analyse the problematic file within rekordbox 5.x

3) Export everything to the empty USB drive and try again.

I had the same problem with the XDJ-RX2, and that in the middle of a set! Loading symbol and you can't do anything else than resetting.

With my RX1 never had this problem for over more than 2 years. I DJ every weekend.

It has nothing to do with the quality of my USB drives.

I can understand that a file is not working good and can't be played, but please make sure the RX2 is not hanging. This gives me as a DJ a lot of stress during a set.

@Frederick > If you're having a problem loading specific songs, it would be helpful to know more details about the tracks themselves to know if it's something there causing it to prevent loading.

I have the same problem with some tracks.

Some of this MP3 files are orginally downloaded via iTunes or Beatport. All other MP3 "players" do not have a problem with this tracks.

@Pioneer: If you need this tracks for analysis, too, I can share them with you.

we've done some analysis of the MP3 tracks that causes the XDJ-RX2 with firmware 1.20 to hang up with "now loading" in the display.

The tracks had a lenght of 00:01h. We downloaded this tracks again and got the same tracks with an incorrect length of 00:01h.

After this we use the tool MP3val to fix the length with

mp3val.exe "c:\MyMusic\*" -f -t -nb

After this procedure the MP3 tracks work fine with the XDJ-RX2.

and more more music !!! NOW LOADING error !!!! XDJ-RX2 

Sorry, but it's not poosible to download these tracks form dropbox.

Have you checked these tracks with MP3val?

@attila > Those Dropbox links were internal, not "shareable" links. As @BTH says, please try scanning them with mp3val and see if the corrected files can be loaded.

You may also try formatting your USB drive and re-exporting the tracks.

Hey Pioneer. I understand that invalid tracks should be fixed by us. But all I want is when an error apears on the screen, when a file is corrupt, the XDJ-RX2 is not blocked. The only thing I can do now is reset the controller, not very amusing in the middle of a set. Can't you make sure that the error is displayed but we can still navigate and choose another song? That's all I'm asking.

I have some issues with my DJX RX it wont change from Grid mode to Zoom mode, it suddenly stops mid playing,  USB will not load either so there are 3 ongoing issues.  Can anybody help me please.

I have the same problem my machine load the tracks with two or three seconds, the machine stopped suddenly. And, sorry because I wrote in other answer) but getting up the machine o solved the problem. Can be the hot of the machine which stop the Xdj-rx2.
Anyone solved the problem like me?
