I'm getting clicking from the ddj rx when i use it as a soundcard for my iMac. I checked it wasn't my speakers by pugging them directly into my iMac. I've also checked nothing i'm sending into it is clipping so cant work out where this is coming from. Any ideas??
In that case, it sounds like there's definitely a problem withe the hardware - please contact a Pioneer DJ authorized service centre in your region to have the DDJ inspected and/or repaired. Unfortunately we're not authorized to provide technical instructions on disassembly, modification, or repair of Pioneer DJ equipment.

Im using a Mac. I tried on different laptops and the issue persists. Issue is only when i take the audio out from the controller (using the controller sound card). If i take the audio from the laptop soundcard its fine. The clicking sound is like a constant metronome sound continuously sounding over the songs and completely distorting and disrupting it. It sounds on all 4 channel even without the laptop connected so i know its not the laptop. I think its the sound card (DAC) of the controller. Im a technician. If you can pls give me the location of the sound card or DAC will be helpful and i can investigate the root cause. thanks

Yes here's the link to the video i just uploaded.The individual channel volume indicators stop lighting up when i change all the channel selector switch to PC, however the clicking sound does not stop. The volume/nature of the sound cannot be adjusted with adjustment. It just persists no matter what.
I can only disconnect the speaker from the controller and connect to to the laptop instead and use it's sound card.

@Joel > At first glance, that seems like external interference. Can you please try using a different electrical circuit and do not plug in that speaker and tell me if the channel level meters have the same activity?
Its not external interference. I tried with other speakers and same sound still. And also tested the audio signal with a multimeter which giving 2.5 Volt peak. Using a different electrical circuit means? 🤔🤔

You mean a power outlet? Yes.. Because this is given to me by a friend for repairs and so it happened during a gig of his and then at his house. And now at my house. 😭.
