Put rekordbox in full-screen mode first, then use the little green ball on the rekordbox video window to make it full-screen (not the four-arrows icon to the right of the master video preview) and it will work.
I am using Rekordbox 5 with video on a MacBook Pro with Retina. If I maximise the program window, the video output changes to a small window. As soon as I run the video output at full screen, the program itself changes back to windowed mode with my dock showing at the bottom. Any ideas??

This seemed to work before, but now I'm on 5.02 it current work anymore. If I set rekordbox to full screen first, when I then click the green button the output window goes to full screen but the Rekordbox program goes back to windowed mode. If I then maximise rekordbox the external video disappears and I have to restart rekordbox to get it back otherwise the video is just displayed as a window on the laptop.
Pulse any update or acknowledgement that the issue still exists?
Yeah, that one seems to have come back in 5.0.2 - I've let the product team know to add it to the fix list. Sorry about that!
You can get the video back, just double-click the video window (in rekordbox) again and then move it over and max it. As you note, rekordbox will come out of full-screen, but at least you don't have to quit rekordbox.
is there any resolution to this issue in the newest 5.4.0 update? of course it still works it is just frustrating to give up some screen real estate with the lack of full screen mode on my performance side of the software.

being March 2019 there is still no solution to such failure .... until when should we wait ??? I am a subscriber and I expect a prompt solution to this problem
