Keyboard shortcut "TAG" does not work (RB 5.0.2)

In RB 5.0.2 export mode, GRID tab "TAG" button is greyed out and the keyboard shortcut (assigned in preferences -> keyboard -> player A -> TAG -> keyboard key "T") does not respond to anything.

Sorry, do you mean TAP?

The TAP button is only enabled while the track is playing, and that would also apply to the keyboard shortcut.

Sorry, yes I mean the TAP button.  The keyboard shortcut "T" that I have assigned to it, does not do anything, while the track is playing.  I wanted to use this to set a beatgrid for tracks that are very irregular and not analyse correctly.

For tracks with irregular beatgrid, that's not the best way to set it - use the Dynamic analysis mode, and/or manually edit the grids for changes in tempo.

There certainly is a bit of a bug going on -- a bare keyboard shortcut for a letter doesn't work, but a modified shortcut (eg. SHIFT+T) works in Performance mode, but none of them work in Export mode. I typically have all of mine with modifiers to avoid accidental shortcuts, which is why I didn't catch it at first, but I'll pass this up to the rekordbox team. Thanks!

I know it's not the best way to set them. But for older music (60's, 70's disco, sometimes beatgrids are SOOOOO irregular that even dynamic analysis mode does not work. Sometimes you have to expand/shrink the beatgrid every 8 beats. That's a lot of work. It would be handy if ... suppose you start at 1.1 ... you hit TAP TAP TAP TAP ... so that 8 beats will be "about" correct.  Then you lock these 8 beats you have correct, and you do the rest TAP TAP TAP TAP ... again some beats right. You lock up to there.  And so you repeat till the end. You understand? Ofcourse you can always use the buttons to expand/shrink the beat intervals, but that's a lot more work if you are happy with "about correct". The about correct beatgrids will still be way more trustable than "not" setting them.
