How was the drive formatted?
Hi there I recently bought the RX2 and I'm having all manner of issues with USB recording. A quick summary of what has been happening:
1. First couple of mixes were fine. Then I did one and the record light suddenly went off. I played the mix back and sections of it were just sort of white noise.
2, As soon as I played the mix, the stick crashed and now cannot be formatted as it is write protected and we have tried several methods to remove this with no joy. The stick being used was a Cyberlink SP 16 gig
3. Last night I used a Verbatim Store n GO 8 gig stick. I recorded for about 90 minutes and then noticed the record light blinking rapidly. I ejected the stick and managed to open it in windows. There were two files in the REC folder, one that was about ten mintes of the mix and one labled something like 'REC MP' I believe that contained all the mix, but the very end of it was just the white noise. The stick then threw up an error saying windows didn't recognise it and now once again it is write protected and i am unable to format it, view it or anything else. This is a stick I have used on different Pioneer equipment to PLAY using Rekordbox many times.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks
Jamie

How was the drive formatted?
Hi Pulse
I have to be honest, the first stick wasn't mine originally so I don't know and the second one i have been using in Rekordbox so long I can't even remember.
Is there a particular procedure I need to follow? I have ordered new sticks so could start from fresh.
Jamie
The format method depends on the operating system of your computer, it differs from Mac to PC.
