Has anyone been able to control 4 tracks in Rekordbox DJ (Performance Mode) using the RX2 as a midi controller? It certainly seems like this should be possible. I can adjust all of the controls on the four channels from the RX2 hardware by going to "shortcut" and choosing "deck select" but when I play all four tracks only the audio of two of the tracks come through the hardware. However, if I open the audio driver software and tab around, all 4 tracks will begin to play through the master channel. Is there a way to utilize the driver of a 4 channel device to gain the feature? It seems to me that if all of the mixing is taking place in the computer, and only the master output is being routed to the RX2, then this should be a simple thing to do. The limitation of using only mixer channels can be easily remedied by using midi takeover as found in ableton and other controllers. This would be a huge step up for the unit Pioneer. Please help make this work.

That would only be possible when using the software in "internal mixer" mode. You would then set the outputs for the master and headphones within the preferences.
Understood, but I haven't had any success using the method you just stated. When I switch between decks 1&2 to 3&4 using the deck select on the RX2, the audio drops out, and switches to only the decks being displayed on the hardware. I don't see any other way of setting this up in the software preferences than using the master output and internal mixer mode as you described. So you know, the meters in Rekordbox also drop when the decks are switched using the hardware. As I mentioned earlier, if I can go into the settings utility, and go to the "about" page and then back to the "ASIO" page, all four channels will playback, both in the software and the hardware. Do have any idea why this might be? Thanks,
Can you post a snapshot of your audio configuration page?
Let me know if you need any other screenshots.
By the way, the utility and driver version are both 1.000.
Regards,
I see this is working how I would expect it to in 5.1.1. Thanks!
Yep; 5.1 fixed that one! :)
