No deck selection menu on CDJ 850 in PC mode Serato

Hi,

So ive been using these cdj's with just usb's and timecode cd's through both traktor and serato since new after not being able to connect through the pc mode. After seeing videos online and doing some research to see that it was possible i'm able to connect the cdj's using the cord. But they both are automatically assigning themselves as deck 1 without giving me the option to choose the deck assignment on either CDJ. Both CDJ's when in pc mode say 'Connected' then both go blank until i select a song on the cdj, in which they would both display and control the same song. I'm confident that i have the latest firmwares (CDJ 850s on 1.12), as well as the ASIO drivers on my Windows 10 PC and serato 1.94.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
