Are you connecting through a USB or Thunderbolt ethernet adapter?
Which version of firmware is on the XDJ-RX?
Which version of rekordbox are you using?
I've been having an issue with the Rekordbox link for quite a while. If I have run Rekordbox earlier in the day, for instance sorting through my library and closed it then reopen later on I am not able to connect to the XDJ-RX. I have been through the firewall setting and also tried disabling the firewall completely and I can see the XDJ-RX shows up in the network devices in OSX however the link button doesn't appear in Rekordbox. The only solution I have found is to restart the laptop then everything is fine, but this isn't a great way to work as if I have a mix more than once a day I have to restart between sessions.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I'm using a Macbook Pro 2012 on OS Sierra.

Just checked and it's actually a late 2011 MBP rather than 2012, connecting through the onboard Ethernet and the firmware on the XDJ is up to date and Rekorbox was updated yesterday. It's as though the connection isn't being closed when I close Rekordbox and is only reset when I restart the machine (although I'm not sure it works like that!). Thanks for your help, any ideas?
Have you tried the other troubleshooting steps (eg. disabling wifi, checking that your sharing and any other server or filesharing applications / services are disabled)?
I am experiencing the same issues when both wired via ethernet cable & wireless. Restarting is the only solution that work so far.
Have any of you tried with the rekordbox 5 beta? Trying to determine if this is a rekordbox version issue leaving some kind of networking connection active.
